IT'S ALL ABOUT THE WEATHER

Here are two poems that are weather related.  Last week was winter here in Langley, B.C. and this week has hints of spring.

INSIDE, OUTSIDE

Charcoal sky lowers and looms

As icy north winds blast the landscape

Pets cower undercover

And people walk inclined

January threatens

Forcing the favoured inside

While freezing the forgotten outside.

It rains outside

And people hide

Curtains drawn

The TV on

The phone is dead

So is the head

People apart

With dormant heart

Rain is pelting

Winter melting.
